There is nothing to lose if you give a petite lingerie size large or medium a try. It just doesn't matter whether you are an actual size small or size 2 cause this is not a disservice for you. If the petite lingerie suits you, it does not matter if it says petite and you are not actually petite. Particularly in apparel, some sizes can be interchanged in some brands. So, average sized women shouldn't doubt to try on petite lingerie.
